For our family, adopting from BRAWA was an easy decision. We believe in supporting local organizations that put the well-being of animals first, and we wanted the opportunity to rescue a pet in need and give them the loving home they deserve.
 

BRAWA has also been part of our family's story for many years. Jessica's great aunt and uncle, Hal and Kay Heers, helped fund, build, and support the shelter. Every Christmas, they would gather donations like food, toys, and cleaning supplies for the animals. Today, our foundation proudly continues that tradition, making it even more meaningful to adopt from a place that has been important to our family for generations.
 

Throughout the adoption process, the BRAWA team was welcoming, professional, and genuinely focused on the animals' best interests. It was clear they wanted every pet to find the right home, and that commitment meant a great deal to us.
 

Since bringing our dogs home, they have become the heart of our family. They fill our days with laughter, unconditional love, and plenty of cuddles on the couch. If you know us, you know our dogs are always part of the conversation, and we're never far from showing off the latest photos we've taken of them. We truly can't imagine our lives, or our home, without them.
