Lost & Found Pets
Thank you for helping a stray or homeless animal in need. BRAWA partners with Petco Love Lost to help reunite families with their missing companions.

Microchipping
Microchipping is the only permanent way to ensure your pet can be identified if they are ever lost or stolen. BRAWA offers microchipping clinics for just $25 per pet. It increases the likelihood of a lost pet being recovered by more than 50% for dogs and 20-fold for cats.
Surrendering a Pet
BRAWA is an Open Admission Shelter. We serve as the only source of help for thousands of homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals in Barren County, regardless of their health, age, or temperament.
Trap Loan Program
Humane traps are available for hire to humanely capture feral cat populations in our community for TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts.

Remember, someone may be searching for their lost pet. In Kentucky, stray adult dogs are held for five days before becoming available for adoption.
